Our Story
Our Name Has Been on the Truck Since 1957
My grandfather started Bill Pentz Well Service in 1957, and I grew up working jobs alongside my dad.
I left for Florida State and earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering, majoring in Environmental Engineering with minors in physics and chemistry. After that I spent six years working as a civil engineer and project manager, including designing and putting in natural gas pipelines for Washington Gas across DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Then I came home to run the family business. I treat a well the way I was trained to treat a pipeline: test it, understand it, then fix what is actually wrong. I still run jobs, write the estimates and answer for the work.
Chris, our lead technician, has been with us since 2019. He pulls pumps, sets tanks and installs treatment systems, and he is usually the voice you hear when you call the shop.
